Alien Escapade • Episode 1874 - Donet Caves: Chela, Donet, Press, Vanna, ~ 04 {Vanna's Trullo ~ 2} - [Ping-Pong-Ping] ``Donet: Vanna? ``Vanna: Zaa Donet, long time no hear, ``Donet: We have an emergency at our caves. The cavers are stuck down the airshaft. ``Vanna: It is not my scene. ``Donet: We have requested assistance, but can you quin come and take a look? ``Vanna: Certus. Send me the data over. I will call up Chela. Sent. Ziggy to Airbase emergency lift off to Cosmo 3. {Chela's Place ~ 2} - [Dilly-Dilly-Dilly] ``Chela: I am not going to get any peace. A mail from Vanna. Subject. Cavers trapped. Now? Reply. I am coming. Sent. --- Brolly emergency lift off to Cosmo 3 over. --- Brolly to Cosmo inner docking over. {Cosmo 3, Citadel to Bonnet Caves ~ 2} ``Chela: Checks completed and 5 greens. Course laid in for Donet. ``Vanna: Mach 51K and zoom. ``Chela: ETA 15 units. I have imported the additional data, and we are overhead. ``Vanna: Standby mode. Ziggy to Cavers dropping down, down. {Donet Caves ~ 4} ``Donet: Zaffre for coming so quickly. ``Vanna: You are welcome. The problem is that I am not skilled in these areas and I could do more damage than I save. ``Donet: I know you have special equipment. ``Vanna: True, but if we burn the rocks away we could injure the cavers or burn through their ropes making them drop to the bottom. ``Donet: We can send fresh ropes down. I will go and talk to their significant others. ``Donet: They have all agreed. ``Vanna: The problem is that I am not insured if anything goes wrong. Therefore I need written authorization signed by you all! ``Donet: Okay I will get it sorted out. ``Chela: All we can do is to loosen the boulders. ``Vanna: We have done it before. --- ``Donet: Here you are twenty signatures. ``Vanna: Okay, clear everyone out of the way as we will create a dust storm. ``Donet: I will have everything cleared away now. [Ziggy] ``Vanna: Hovering 300m. ``Chela: Target mode, powered on. ``Vanna: We need the straight mode and low level as all we need to crack those boulders, ``Chela: The problem is getting the angle. ``Vanna: We need to tilt the Saucer down at an angle. ``Chela: That is dangerous as this height. ``Vanna: Thrusters on. Keep the power up. Search light on. ``Chela: I can see the boulders. ``Vanna: Try auto detect. ``Chela: It is not accurate enough. ``Vanna: Set the beam manually. ``Chela: 20% and Fire. ``Vanna: Go in between those two boulders propping themselves up. ``Chela: Fire. It moved. ``Vanna: Try again. ``Chela: Fire. It is going. ``Vanna: Up we go and level out. Thrusters off. ``Chela: They are all waving at us. ``Vanna: Excellent. Up to Cosmo and dock. [Cosmo Bridge] ``Vanna: Set course for home. ``Chela: ETA 20 units. That was a good outcome. ``Vanna: That I am not claiming this as it was a freebie, and you have received a huge lump. ``Chela: Zarfs, and it was a large lump. Overhead. Locking orbit. Standby mode. ``Vanna: You can wander off home and zarfs. ``Chela: Zarfs Vanna. --- Brolly to Cosmo undocking over. ``Vanna: Now what do I do? Do I go to Lacerta? ``Press: Can we have a statement? ``Donet: I can give you a brief of what happed, but Vanna does not give interviews. ``Press: Just tell us what happened. ``Donet: The Cavers were stuck and we needed outside help, but who could we get to assist an awkward situation.
