{Space Cavern ~ 8}
``Pilot: Welcome all. There are free drinks and snacks in the Munch Bar for later. I will start with the Vulcan, which is nearly finished, as you can compare your larger size of the Condor which is 10% bigger. We strip everything down. Your Condor has been fuel converted, so you should get Mach 10K, but it will take a bit of getting use to. It was manufactured on PQ and not many were built as it went out of fashioned when the Vulcan did. Many of the seals had to be replaced. The thrusters cowlings were not strong enough, so we have made some new ones, twice as thick. It will take another qef before it is ready for a test flight and Aerodynamic testing which you are invited to, if you have the stomach for it.

The inspector will be called in for certification, as it has never been done, and your insurance would have been invalid. I will show you our other hangars and we now have another Hopi-Plus in for revamping. Vanna, buys them up and sells them on. We are now back at the munch bar.
[Munch Bar]
``Capo: Did you hear that about insurance? ``Lidia: Zaa, and Condor would have packed up on you, and who could have fixed it? ``Capo: It is a big job stripping it down. ``Vanna: This final test is the full works, and you are expected to be on it! ``Capo: Okay. ``Lidia: I am missing the punch line here! ``Vanna: We loop the loop, and we have to be able to restart the engines, from free fall mode. ``Lidia: Qaa zarfs. ``Vanna: I have looped the loop at Mach 6K to get rid of a missile which was homed in on Cosmo. ``Lidia: That is crazy. ``Vanna: So was the missile. ``Lidia: What is on for this afternoon. ``Vanna: A free period. Capo and I will come back here tomorrow for the test flight. Selina will take you out in her Buggy as she has not done 50 hours in Poppy, although she is catching up, now Poppy has been overhauled. ``Sarpi: You are working here down to the bones? ``Chela: Zaa, Pilot does a 100% full check, and will not let anything go. ``Sarpi: Is that what we have to do? ``Chela: Zaa. ``Sarpi: That is okay. Can I meet Gina? ``Chela: Zaa. I will send her a mail now. Sent.

{Space Cavern ~ 8} - (Next Day)
``Pilot: No food until we are back on the ground. The is a sick bag; you will wear a full harness. I will do the whole flight. We have parachutes and thrusters packs and oxygen. The two hatches are your only form of escape. The pressure alone will stop you using the drawbridge. So Let is get going.
1) Barrel Rolls, as this checks out the controls as well.
2) Tight turns at maximum and checks out other controls and g-forces.
3) Power on, nose down, and we are already over Mach 10K and up and over we go. ``Capo: Crikey I have never done that before. ``Vanna: Normal procedure.
4) Lastly, Power off, nose down. And we go into a spiral decent. Now restart engines. ``Capo: It is slow! ``Pilot: That is okay, engine 1, and engine 2. ``Vanna: All standard procedure. ``Pilot: That concludes the test. The good news is that you have Mach 10K, and you will not use any more fuel. We can return to base.
[Munch Bar]
``Capo: No one has ever done that before. ``Pilot: I do not like doing many of them, but as you say, yours have never been done. So you now have a new SAAC certificate. The inspector had never seen a Condor before, so it spent much more time scrutinizing every element. ``Capo: Zarfs Pilot. That means we are going home? ``Vanna: Zaa. I will put Ziggy on top, and we can take Condor her for a spin.
[Condor In Flight]
``Capo: She really flies along. ``Vanna: That means you could be home in 36 hours. ``Capo: I need fuel. ``Vanna: Wait until you get home. ``Capo: Of course I can. Okay back to Airbase. ``Vanna: I will undock Ziggy from Condor, and see you on the ground.
