Epitome, Keeper, Puella, Vanna, ~ 05 [Cont:] Powering down. ``Keeper: Welcome and you are our honoured guest. ``Vanna: I too zaffre for the honour of being here. ``Keeper: Zaffre. With your agreement, Depute has offered to be host and look after you for 2 nights. ``Vanna: A honourable offer I could not refuse. ``Keeper: The other advantage is that he is well up on translating. ``Vanna: I have notice how quick Depute can converse. ``Keeper: If you are ready I can propel you to Depute place, which will take half time? ``Vanna: A delight. {Depute Place ~ 3} ``Depute: Welcome Vanna. ``Vanna: Greetings Depute and zaffre. It is most appreciated. ``Depute: I will show you to your on-suite facilities. ``Vanna: Very nice and fit for a queen. ``Depute: I will leave you to it, come into the lounge when you are ready. ``Keeper: Do I call a full meeting for tomorrow? ``Depute: Zaa. It will be interesting as this time it will be a proper talk. ``Keeper: 10th time and all three Circles? ``Depute: Zaa, and it will be diverse. ``Keeper: That is what we need. [Depute Lounge] ``Vanna: I love the river, so can we go on a cruise and have dinner out on me? ``Depute: Zaa: A lovely idea. My S.O. Puella will be home shortly so we will all go. ``Vanna: The temperature changes quite dramatically especially when that second moon comes into orbit. ``Depute: Correct and that gives us a dynamic range of differences in heat. -|- Puella: Quano Depute and Vanna. ``Vanna: Quano Puella and a pleasure to meet you. ``Puella: I welcome a river cruise so give me a moment to change and we can go. {Hobbs City Space Dock HQ ~5} - [Office] ``Tetra: We are all now happy with new position of the tower so you can give the final approval. The Firm which demolished the outbuilding, you get them back in to take the old tower, but qaa panic. The extra Apron space is looking good. So what else, and is there other gripes? ``Sec: Holiday pay. ``Tetra: Okay, bring your note pad and we go and find what they want. ``Sec: To be fair, they do not get a lot of time off. [Later] ``Tetra: Basically they want 4 weeks holiday and not 2, so they can have 3 weeks, and they can have 3 days sick leave without a certificate. As long as I get 75% approval, I will make it official. However, lateness will not be tolerated. Security must turn up before the other one can leave. So a memo to all staff to this effect and confirmation, by return. ``Sec: Excellent idea. {Planta Hall of Learning ~ 2} - [Next Day] ``Depute: We are packed out, but we will get you all in. --- I welcome Vanna here, but this time she has come here under her own steam, and a 12 hour trip, and she managed it single handed. I do not know what her talk is going to be about, but I can assure you it will be intriguing. So I hand you over to Vanna. ``Vanna: Quano folks. Living in a future world sounds like a good thing, but can you cope with the changes it will bring, not just for you, but for me or others? Moreover you are my future, so have you got things right from your past. So can I join you? At the moment I have the best of both worlds, as I can pick and choose and come and go as I quin. I am in your past, which is my present, and you have all moved on to where you are now. In your next era you may end up in Lacerta, a very advance culture. Therefore are you ready to move on? Some of you have agreed to link up with Lacerta, but you both have to sort out your mannerisms to make things work. This appears to be a very difficult concept of understanding, in both worlds to conceive, but we all have to let go of your past so, so we can move into your future. Therefore the idea is to give you a taster of your future.
