I agree. ``Vanna: That means I will be charging the committee my usual fee? ``Master: One of the committee has changed. ``Vanna: Also I am not going to do a cheap job! ``Master: Accepted. Where do you want to start? ``Vanna: Security pass to go anywhere! ``Master: We can do that now. --- Here you are! Now where? ``Vanna: The Apron and get clearance to cross active. --- It is a shambles. ``Master: Next? ``Vanna: Control Tower. --- Blimey, you have tape everywhere stopping the wind getting in through the windows! That is not allowed. The whole lot will have to go. Visual wise, not bad. Any problems controller? ``Controller: It is hard to see when the suns are shining through. ``Vanna: Tinted glass? ``Controller: Zaa quin. ``Vanna: I am not going to get around this lot this qef, so it is munch time, and we can discussed procedures.

``Master: How much financial allocation, have you? ``Master: ¢1 million. ``Vanna: Without SCANDA? ``Master: That is what I thought you would say. ``Vanna: I will do you a primary report, which will cover my fee, but at least one building has to go. Everything is so old, and it has lasted well, but it is passed its 'sell by date'. The Apron, has to be revamped. New cabling everywhere. Security is okay, but new cameras. The terminal needs new signs and fire exit doors are doubtful. Need I go on? ``Master: Qaa, but I have to convince the committee, and I will request your presence. ``Vanna: Sensible idea.

``Master: I completed the draft for the Cosmo exam, and it has gone in to SAAI. Pilot says we can revise it later, once we have run the course, and they will not know the difference. ``Vanna: Excellent. We both need 500 hours, so will you now spend some more time? Perhaps the Sednoid trip may help us, and it will be a holiday as well for you. ``Master: I will be in touch, as soon as I can get the committee sorted out. ``Vanna: Can we not catch them on the hop now? ``Master: We can try.

``Master: Secretary is all the committee in? ``Secretary: I can go and find out for you! ``Master: Tell them I need a meeting now! ``Secretary: Certus. --- Meet them in the conference room in 10 units. ``Master: Which includes you. ``Secretary: Certus.

``Master: Zaffre for calling this meeting, because I have Vanna here, the one whom we have agreed upon to do the Commission report, is so far not good. Therefore, I am not convinced that you will like her appraisal. ``Director: I am still new to this post, but I am not green. ``Accounts: I have already decided that the landing fees will have to be increased. ``Secretary: I play an active role as I am on the committee, and we could not agree to expenditure. ``Master: As CFI, everything is going up, but the biggest problem is the SAA new rules, and every Air facility is facing similar problems and will initially cost them all ¢500,000 to upgrade. ``Accounts: So you are saying there is not in the budget? ``Master: Correct.

``Director: Vanna, quano to you, and zaffre you for coming over. Is this true, about the general finances? ``Vanna: Zaa, Fleet Air Base; Algol Space Dock and Cepheus Space Dock have all got similar problems. ``Secretary: How do you know this? ``Vanna: I have the contracts to sort them all out. ``Accounts: So what is your estimate? ``Vanna: ¢1 million without SCANDA. [chatter] ``Director: That is a huge increase! ``Vanna: I also have a habit on finding other things to be done, and I will ignore them. ``Secretary: Can you give us some examples? ``Vanna: A complete set of tinted windows for the control tower; all power cables have to be replaced. Night licensing rules, although you have had one done; emergency landing area, which means one of the offices blocks have to go; the fuel line must be moved. ``Director: These are massive jobs? ``Vanna: Zaa, and I use higher specifications. ``Director: We will deliberate and will be in touch.
