Alien Escapade • Episode 0812 - The Directions: Dàshî, Feny, Fûrèn, Liang, Master, Selina, Skipper, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 10 {Ziggy, S152c in Hops ~ 6} ``Master: Okay, and standby for the g-force. ``Tetra: Locking co-ordinates. ``Skipper checking for flying objects, satellites and orbiting space stations. ``Master: All clear, dropping down to 1Km. Cloud burst and prism lights on, but now where? ``Zola: We land between those two houses. And there is our infra-red light on the roof. ``Master: I see it. ``Vanna: You have woods at the back so come in from the west and to starboard. That is it, and down we go. ``Master: Dropping down, down. ``Vanna: Blast I did not bring the Walkie-talkie. ``Master: Too late for that now. Are we in the right place? ``Vanna: Zaa. {Corley Farm ~ 10} ``Feny: Liang did I a hear a tremendous gust of wind? ``Liang: Surely not, could they be here? ``Feny: Let's go and find out. ``Liang: What was that thud? ``Feny: Get some warm clothes on! ``Vanna: Can you see the 'H' on the ground? ``Master: Yes. ``Vanna: Land on it. ``Master: Okay. Here we go! Dropping down, down, down. ``Tetra: I need to do calibration checks and up dates, so I need your Earth minutes. ``Master: We will stay active, but that g-force was very heavy. ``Liang: They are here. ``Dàshî: Good heavens. ``Fûrèn: I cannot see much in the dark. ``Dàshî: You wait until daylight. ``Feny: It is not their usual Saucer. ``Tetra: I am transmitting up to Cosmo. Okay I have a reciprocal course laid in, and I have saved data on the backup computer. So what is next? ``Master: I have checked all systems. Skipper? ``Skipper: I cannot think of anything, other than powering down into standby mode and remote control for the drawbridge. ``Master: Okay. Let us go. ``Tetra: Drawbridge down. [Clink] Drawbridge up. `Feny: Vanna? [Hugs] How wonderful and you have made it. ``Vanna: Let me introduce everyone; Dàshî and his wife Fûrèn, ``Fûrèn: Greetings, ``Dàshî: Welcome. ``Vanna: Feny and Liang, this is Master and Skipper, then we have my Mum Selina, and Zola, Tetra and me. [Zenden's] or [Hallo's] ``Feny: I will put the kettle on. ``Zola: Your instant coffee will do. ``Feny: Good and Liang can find the mugs and there are some biscuits. ``Zola: Have we made it? ``Master: Yes in 11 hours. ``Selina: That is incredible. ``Liang: Just help yourself and more is coming. ``Feny: That should make us 10. ``Dàshî: I can see now what you mean, and why you wanted us over here. ``Vanna: This is the easy bit. ``Dàshî: Hey? ``Vanna: We will have g-force when we take off ``Dàshî: Oh! ``Vanna: We also have to swap Saucers. Anyway we are all going to our quarters, and we will see you after daylight, as this should help to cushion our space lag. Good night. [Morning] ``Selina: Breakfast time folks. I am preparing cheese rolls for everyone, and instant coffee. ``Vanna: After breakfast we will take a look at the improvements. --- The fencing is good. And the H is also good, so we now have two landing pads. I thank you Feny and Liang. ``Liang: You're welcome. ``Vanna: The idea is to land the Vulcan here, and it is a 12 seater. ``Feny: We were curious about the additional H. ``Vanna: Tetra wants to take some Gliders back, but it is the wing span which is the problem, as we had trouble getting the organ pipes in. There is an old type of glider trainer, called the T21.b. Liang could you see if you can find us a couple? ``Liang: Sure I will look into it. ``Vanna: Please excuse me, as we have to do some more checks on Ziggy. So I will leave you with Selina and Zola. ``Selina: I have offered to put you two up, as my guests. ``Dàshî: Thank you, and that it is kind of you to offer your house to us. My wife is also very pleased. ``Selina: You looked after Leila for two days, and she and Malcolm will be waiting for you at home. Cont.
