{V001 Meets Cirrus 1 in flight in deep space ~ 7} - Cont:
``Tetra: 5 units to docking. ``Captain: Mach 0 and full stop. ``Tetra: He is docking underneath us? 3, 2 1, steady as she goes. [Clonk] ``Captain: Jarry secure hatches and pressurize. ``Jarry: Opening hatches. --- Zenden Cheb. ``Cheb: Zenden Jarry. --- Zenden all. [Zenden] ``Captain: Are your crew staying or going? ``Cheb: They are happy to go as they have a 15-hour flight home, but I have brought a couple of boxes in case of emergencies. ``Captain: Brilliant. Jarry, close hatches and release docking. ``Jarry: Hatches secured and 4 greens. ``Captain: Whizz Skipper. ``Skipper: Aye, aye Captain: ``Captain: Jarry where are those drinks? ``Cheb: It is nice to be back in the Vulcan. ``Skipper: Cheb, this is my favourite ship to fly. ``Gina: Drinks all, and quano Cheb. ``Cheb: Gina, you are looking well. ``Gina: Zarfs. ``Tetra: We will have 3 Vulcans running shortly and a 4th is coming from Planet-Q. ``Cheb: I think we have most of the bits back in Cepheus, so I am authorizing that we rebuild the 6th one. ``Tetra: We all like them, except for Kirin. ``Captain: Tetra? Do not get personal. ``Tetra: Sorry Captain. ``Cheb: Take me through your navigational computers and explain to me where we are, and where we are going? ``Tetra: Certus. I have a channel constantly open on the homing beacon, but it could be weak, and we are heading for this uncharted north west star, on the fringe of the Cepheus constellation, heading towards Polaris Star. I will soon start the scroll-graph going. ``Cheb: When you are ready Captain, we will go down the cargo Hold for a chat. ``Captain: Tetra, tell Vanna, Master and Pilot, half time. ``Tetra: Zaa. ``Cheb: This is a mammoth task you have taken on! ``Captain: All in a qef's work. {V001 Cargo Hold ~ 6}
``Cheb: I have been delving into the logs of Cirrus 1, and it has not been anywhere near Polaris Star or where we are heading. Both Saucers were owned by a Syndicate, and they have disbanded, so Cosmo1 was legally sold through the court system as they became the holding owners, and no one claimed her. This is why the other bidder dropped out, once this information came to the surface. ``Vanna: Most interesting, so it is now up to us to salvage what we have of her. Hang on! I have bought an ongoing ship, and now we may have to salvage it just to make it work? ``Cheb: In a sense, but no offence meant, but correct. ``Master: How did it get to Polaris? ``Cheb: We may find that out when we can access the computers, as there are 3 of them. ``Tetra: We should be able to tap in on remote. ``Pilot: I am working on that, but I am probably looking in the wrong computer section, and it is not in any standard language. ``Captain: We all have to accept it as a case of and do a full quarantine check out. ``Cheb: I totally agree, even it takes a qef. All the other things you have mentioned are possibilities and nothing can be ignored. ``Skipper: Could they still be onboard? ``Cheb: I think so! ``Captain: Blimey. Okay back to stations. ``Cheb: I am going to introduce myself to your passengers and explain some of the possibilities ahead. ``Captain: Excellent idea, and we will join you.

``Cheb: Quano and zenden to everyone, for those who do not know me, I am Cheb a Vulcan Captain from Cepheus and a development engineer. I have your 6 members of the crew behind me, and I offered to come along and help resolve the mysteries of what we may encounter. We have come well prepared and are doing everything by the book, which means that it will take time to complete. We will keep you informed as much as possible and you can observe what is happening on the smart screen. Any questions? ``Riss: Is the Saucer safe? ``Cheb: We would think that Cosmo1 is constructionally sound, but it may not be working, which is where we come in. Therefore you can approach at any time, and we will try and answer. Zaffre.

``Tetra: We have now been going for 80 hours and we are not far from plotted course. Therefore I am starting Scroll-graph recording. I suggest we stop, once we are at the designated co-ordinates. Cont.
