Episode 0750 - The Adrenalin:

``Dr Poult: I have made this draft report. I have interviewed everyone as to my remit. To re-access whether Beings are going crazy as flying appears to have an enlarged adrenalin flow. Everyone has their own unique reason to fly and I could not find any one particular datum to work upon in what makes you want to fly. Everyone has made a decision that they want to fly and that is it. They have to do something, so it might as well be flying. Most couples want to help their partner and not be left out in life or to be alone, especially on long trips away. Therefore they need to take an active interest and perhaps go with them, which is good.

However, there needs to be a good rapport and understanding between them, and to accept that there are no time limits as to their job status. This means that couples must become more supportive whether it is, day, night or in artificial light. They must also maintain total discipline, especially if they are going to work together. Therefore an enhanced understanding is required, to sustain their relationship.

The only perk out of these long flights is that they get to do what no one else usually does, and get to see other worlds. The only common denominator for their determination which can be seen, is that there is something worthwhile at the end of their trip. In addition to this is, you need to meet professional space personnel who also need to make new friends as you are all pioneers, and others cannot cope.

``Selina: You did not mention space lag and what affect it adds to the adrenalin flow! ``Dr Poult: Space lag is a time constant, for example having two breakfasts. Therefore you miss the first one. If you are arriving on Earth early morning, then skip a late dinner on board so your body can readjust to a normal pattern. ``Scotty: Neither have you mentioned, boredom? ``Dr Poult: That would stop the adrenalin flowing and the willpower to fly. ``Tetra: Noise creates tension, so you have not mentioned anything about the way people switch off, without stopping the adrenalin flow! ``Dr Poult: In theory that could send them crazy, not being able to get any peace, and that would stop them from flying. ``Leila: What about food intake, should our food packs not be better marked up? ``Dr Poult: A valid point and I suggest we talk to Kara, as she can mark up whether it is light or a heavy meal. ``Dobra: I wish space food was hotter. ``Dr Poult: Captain? ``Captain: I too agree, so I will have the oven temperature raised by two degrees. ``Zola: Unless it is a salad! ``Vanna: Hah, ha. What other things can you think of to stop us going crazy on a 3 qef flight as we all get tired with board games? ``Dr Poult: A small independent library onboard, so you are reading something different. ``Joya: Does anyone want to fly because they are crazy? ``Dr Poult: That is one of the things I generally look for in an applicant, and many are not suitable. ``Gina: You have not mentioned about being incinta, whilst flying! ``Dr Poult: This is a new concept for me, and I would like to have some free sessions with yourself over the next year so I can get an overall appraisal. ``Carrell: You have not mentioned about me, being on a space walk and do it for personal reasons. ``Dr Poult: You are the odd one out so far, and I have no experience to form a conclusion at the moment, but yours is for enjoyment, which initially would not allow your adrenalin to flow to extremes. ``Captain: You have not mentioned about exhaustion on these long trips and I have noticed it with my crew, so has the adrenalin stopped flowing? ``Dr Poult: A valid point which I will take on board, especially in the present circumstances. ``Zola: How about some curtains so we can block off the lower deck scenery, and it would tell others we need some privacy? ``Dr Poult: Captain? ``Captain: Certus, and I will get Pilot to knock something up. ``Tetra: How about sound proofing the Hold, to stop us going crazy? ``Dr Poult: I agree. Captain? ``Captain: We did make it more comfortable down there for Tetra, but I will add it to Pilot's list, to make more improvements. ``Joya: You have not made any suggestions to help us detect instability in an applicant. ``Dr Poult: Awareness and experience which you have being doing with interviews for Earth. Therefore leave the crazy ones to me.
