``Vanna: A mail message in from Beagle. Subject Truck. !!Dear Vanna, it will depend on weight loading, as we can take the generator off, and lie them side by side. However it will depend on how many are on the trip, which includes me and Carrell. Therefore we will probably have left before I get your reply, but send it anyway. Regards Beagle. I will reply, and zarfs Vanna. I will mail our Captain, as he will be back after his rest period shortly, and Scotty. Sent.

``Leila: Hiya. Malcolm is getting very concerned and he is almost panicking, so I left him to get on with it. ``Vanna: You can relax, because Beagle and Carrell are on the Eagle, which is leaving now. ``Leila: That is a relief, but I will let him stew until he has quietened down. Carrell still has to be checked out, before she can come to Earth. ``Vanna: Absolutely, and I am mailing Joya now. Also Pilot needs the Vulcan, so I was unable to persuade him to swap places and nor would I want to upset him, as he is sorting out the Snakes. ``Leila: You win. ``Vanna: Staying for a while, and zaffre for doing the garden? ``Leila: Certus.
[Ping-Pong-Ping]
``Vanna: Hang on! It is a SOS from Scotty that 'Feny and Liang are on holiday for a wesk and will be in touch on their return'. ``Leila: Blimey that is different, and are they getting officially engaged? ``Vanna: Who is the matchmaker now? But I do hope so. ``Leila: So we can go back our normal rota. ``Vanna: As we keep saying, it can all wait. ``Leila: But you are getting more like our Captain, and pushing things, in which you want to do first! ``Vanna: Maybe, but we are restricted on how many times we can go to Earth owing to the cutbacks. ``Leila: In that case we had better warn everyone it will be every 6 wesks. ``Vanna: I am happy to drop into China. ``Leila: I concur so we need to get some another SOS off to Keith, so he understands our requirements. ``Vanna: I will mail Scotty.

{Skipper's Place ~ 2}
``Jabo: You have done well. ``Skipper: I thought I would make the most of my rest period, as I am back on duty tomorrow. Can you start passing me the wild plants, as I am in the new pond. ``Jabo: Here you are one at a time. ``Skipper: So what have you been up to? ``Jabo: Taking it easy after that long trip. ``Skipper: Sensible, and can I have those plants in the corner, quin? ``Jabo: Certus. Cepheus was enjoyable, it is just a long haul flight of 2 qefs, each way. ``Skipper: I would certainly go back again. ``Jabo: What about Lacerta, they are all talking about? ``Skipper: That could be 3 qefs each way. ``Jabo: Ouch. ``Skipper: Pass me that big box of those long stem plants which are already in water. ``Jabo: Certus. It is going to take a while, for me to get over this trip, before I consider another one. ``Skipper: You never do, and you could go on the Earth trip, in a pair of wesks time. ``Jabo: What is it with you flyers, because it becomes a compulsion and you are never satisfied. ``Skipper: What were I be doing, if I was not flying? ``Jabo: I do not know. ``Skipper: Exactly that, as I still have to do something.

{Kirin's Place ~ 2}
``Riss: I am going home, until you quieten down and I think you ought to go sick tomorrow, as you are in no fit state for any communication. ``Kirin: I am alright. ``Riss: It is a stressed out compulsion with you! ``Kirin: I will be fine by tomorrow. ``Riss: Well, I am not going to get in your way. ``Kirin: Quin, stay. ``Riss: Why? ``Kirin: I want you, and I need your company. ``Riss: It is making you worse, because you are using me as a scapegoat. ``Kirin: I have no intention of doing that. ``Riss: I think you ought to go and see Dr Poult, before the Captain orders it and you get grounded. ``Kirin: You cannot be serious. ``Riss: Deadly serious, and I will suggest it to our Captain. ``Kirin: Qaa, qaa, and stop being so horrible. ``Riss: That is nothing to what I could be like. ``Kirin: Now I get your threatening behaviour. ``Riss: The choice is yours!
