``Zola: will I have direct link facilities through to Dobra in Algol? ``Scotty: I do not know, and I will have to think about it. Are we going to offer this facility to any one? And Tetra how is it going to be implemented? ``Vanna: We have not considered the other end, we have just not had time. ``Leila: Why are we going further away from Earth? ``Tetra: I will have to find a way to jigger it somehow, because, you two have the normal Highway circuit, but it is not transferable, as we have built it into the security level, so it cannot be done. ``Dobra: So I could link up at Selina's; Vanna's, Airbase; or Scotty's? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Tetra: The only way is to set up a network between Vanna's 2 computers, and allow access to Zola. ``Vanna: I initially approve, but I will need advance notice, when you want to use it.

``Leila: We are still in the early stages of development, and until Network 10 comes online, it will then become a service, they will offer you. ``Zola: I will go and see Network 10, and see what I can get set up, but how far have they got on that side of things? ``Vanna: We all need an update, so Leila and Tetra you had better come with us. ``Tetra: Zaa, and I do not have skool tomorrow. ``Leila: Zaa, but it gets too technical at times. ``Vanna: You will not learn anything if you do not come. So Scotty, mail Network 10, Satlink and Cable. ``Scotty; Zaa, and sent. ``Vanna: I am also waiting to see how Carrell gets on, with a link up with us.

``Scotty: That is still the problem, although we have a direct link. Therefore if we get a transponder working on the New-Sat we could give Zola access. ``Vanna: It still means that someone will have to be at the other end, so Dobra would have to go into Satlink HQ in Algol on special arrangements. ``Leila: Dobra, Auntie and Carrell, will have to have their own direct link up, into Sat HQ. Then they can charge customers to use it. ``Vanna: Mail Auntie, Scotty and Carrell, and explain the predicament. --- ``Scotty: All done, and all have been sent. We need our own set up. ``Vanna: A Gateway page.

``Scotty: Mails are coming in. One from Auntie. They have got an old uplink truck in working order, and you can have it for a donation. ``Vanna: Approved, because we are going to need it. ``Leila: What about Earth? ``Vanna: I am coming to that. So confirm it Scotty, and ask Auntie, if they can find another one, so we can uplink from Algol. ``Scotty: All sent.

``Vanna: What is the latest on Old-Sat? ``Tetra: It is allegedly working and we have 10 transponders, and 2 of them are up-link channels. ``Vanna: Anything on Global Beams? ``Tetra: Qaa, but we have two on wide beams. ``Vanna: Therefore we will need the truck before we can get things working. ``Tetra: It is looking that way. ``Vanna: Leila, once we can get a signal through the Old-Sat, we can get our special Chinese Satellite working, and they should then start talking to each other.

``Leila: That is accepted, but it appears it will be at least 6 wesks, before we can get to Earth. ``Vanna: True, and the Crew are exhausted, but I do agree, we must get a message to Keith, so Scotty a SOS. 'Hens are not laying, for the next month, but they will be a fresh batch'. ``Scotty: Confirmed. ``Leila: It was agreed, we would go one a moth. ``Vanna: Zaa, but we have the cutbacks as well, and we all agreed it would be every six wesks. ``Leila: I am concerned for Malcolm. ``Vanna: I accept that, and we can see what there responses, are when we hear back from Keith, and then make an updated decision.

``Scotty: I can come over with the new machine this evening. ``Dobra: Certus. ``Tetra: And I will pop over tomorrow evening. ``Zola: Certus. ``Leila: What is Incus, doing? ``Zola: Very little at the moment, as all his allocated hours have been used up. ``Leila: As we say, we have to wait, as time moves slowly up here.
