``Jarry: Vulcan to Dock, over. ``Dalbir: You are cleared for SP7, but there is a bitter cold wind coming from the east, so be aware on crosswind component, over. ``Jarry: Confirmed. ``Cheb: That means we cannot do a landing on normal maximums, so get the manual out Jarry. --- ``Jarry: Here you are, Cheb. ``Cheb: Zarfs. --- Jarry ask Dock what is the actual wind speed. ``Jarry: Vulcan to Dock, what is the actually velocity of the wind over. ``Dalbir: Dock to Vulcan, 20 - 25kts over. ``Cheb: Full stop, Captain. ``Captain: Confirmed. ``Cheb: That is high. Neither can we get round it, because we have a ridge in the way. An important point of concern for Tetra. ``Captain: [Intercom] Tetra to the bridge. ---``Tetra: Zaa Captain.

``Captain: Do you remember about the ridge problem we had in Fluffy? ``Tetra: Zaa Captain and I did not, recognized the windsheer. ``Captain: Well we have a 25kt wind, so what do we do? ``Tetra: Oh heck. --- Land back in Dock. Or dump her in the Parki, which is hidden from the draft on the south side by the way. ``Captain: Agreed, so can you direct us in? ``Tetra: Certus. Keep to the south side, away from the ridge and use the main way at woodlands, but do not over fly the Trulli. ``Kirin: There will be another dust storm. ``Captain: Inform Dock of change of tactics, Jarry. ``Tetra: We are only dropping the snake off, and it is smaller than the Saucer, so we should have plenty of room. ``Captain: Dropping down. ``Tetra: There it is on your starboard side, and it has been cleared. ``Cheb: Let her sink down slowly, as it likes time to think. ``Captain: I am using full thrusters. ``Tetra: On target, and it is all yours Captain. --- 5, 4, 3m. ``Captain: [Bump] We are down. Unlock hatches. ``Jarry: Hatches relocked captain. ``Captain: Lifting off and Tetra, advised Dock, we are in flight to SP6. ``Tetra: Confirmed, but go straight up to 600m, to be over the ridge, Captain. ``Captain: Approved. --- Dropping down, down. Shutting down sequence. ``Jarry: The Hopper, hopper is coming over now. Drawbridge down. ``Captain: Let us all go home, we all deserve it.

``Dobra: That was an interesting ending, before landing. ``Selina: And it is extremely cold out, and the chill factor makes it worse. ``Dobra: At least we are home and back in the warm, and it was exhausting. ``Selina: I even feel very tired, but we knew it would take a lot longer at Mach 9. ``Dobra: Just an observation and not a complaint. ``Selina: You are okay heath wise? ``Dobra: Oh yes. ``Selina: Are you sure you are not hiding anything? ``Dobra: ``Qaa. ``Jarry: That was the most devastating trip I have done. I thought towing the Eagle, back to Algol was bad enough, but this one tops it. ``Gina: You will be doing it again in a pair of qefs. ``Jarry: Oh heck! ``Gina: Will they go to Earth or will we have another trip to get the Vulcan. ``Jarry: I have not had time to think about it, and I doubt that our Captain has decided yet.

{Kern's Place ~ 2}
``Qualla: What is the latest on Brother? ``Kern: Surprisingly he is still in goal. ``Qualla: Wonderful news. ``Kern: They have found a loophole to keep him in. ``Qualla: Is he still on remand? ``Kern: I would think so, and it is going on trial. ``Qualla: If he does go down, then others will then come forward. ``Kern: I have heard that a few want to see him go down, and there are 2 who will testify against him, under witness protection. ``Qualla: There ought to be another raid, just before the court case. ``Kern: I will pass it on.
