``Vanna: Captain, can we go into your office, as we need to have a private chat? ``Captain: Certus. I will close the door. [Closes Door]. --- Okay I am, all ears! ``Vanna: We all want to go to Lacerta. ``Captain: So do I, but it could take 3 qefs to get there, especially in the Vulcan. ``Vanna: What about Cirrus Mk1? ``Captain: Zaa, but it is the costs. ``Vanna: Forget the cost of it, because that is not a problem. ``Captain: Hey! ``Vanna: I can finance it. ``Captain: We could hire the Cirrus, but would all have to be retrained.

``Vanna: Can Tetra find us another Void? ``Captain: She has mentioned it. The problem is that we know nothing about Lacerta, or what their life forms are like. ``Vanna: That is why we have to go. ``Captain: It will mean we will have to plot some new dimensions, but it is not going to be easy as with Algol. ``Vanna: A few high speed test runs in the S182, but your computers cannot cope. ``Captain: I am not surprised, because no one knows anything about Lacerta. ``Vanna: That is why we have got the job! ``Captain: You mean they have, commissioned you? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Captain: In that case, I am happy to do test runs at ¢5,000 per trip. ``Vanna: A down payment? ``Captain: What just like that? ``Vanna: My Scroll-card. ``Captain: Zarfs Vanna, and I will call Kirin in. Kirin?

``Kirin: Zibo Vanna. ``Vanna: Zibo Kirin, and quin sit down. ``Kirin: Zaa. ``Captain: We are all going to Lacerta, so there will be regular test flights in that direction as from now. ``Kirin: Zaa Captain, and a wonderful idea. ``Vanna: The Navigational computers will need expanding, so get onto Navia, and make it happen, now. ``Captain: Update everyone officially that we have now included Lacerta in our remit of destinations. ``Kirin: We will need Cirrus 1. ``Vanna: Zaa we will, but Navia, will have to change Cirrus 1 computers over to our computer system. ``Kirin: Oh I love it, and I will start on it straight away. ``Vanna: Get extended insurance cover, because if we do not tell them, they will say we are not insured, although they will not pay out anyway. ``Captain: Certus. I will have Pilot over, for a full meeting.

``Vanna: Mum, as you still complain that you get left behind, so let us see if you can accept this new concept of understanding, before I tell the others. ``Selina: Go on. ``Vanna: Tetra has been working on us going to Lacerta, and it has been approved by our Captain. ``Selina: That is an ambitious achievement to even comprehend. ``Vanna: We are starting test flights towards Lacerta in the S182 for speed, as we can knock up Mach 14. ``Selina: That is incredible news. I wondered why Tetra has been so quiet. ``Vanna: Tetra is also looking for another void, as we are still working out how long it will take us, but it is 3 qefs at the moment. `Selina: I need a drink. Your, usual? ``Vanna: Zaa. She has all the professors looking at this possibility, but none of them know any answers. ``Selina: So who is financing this project? ``Vanna: I am.

``Selina: I do not know what to say, but I approve, so let me know if I can do anything to help. ``Vanna: Tetra needs some help, collating all the information. ``Selina: Okay. I can easily do that task. When are you off to Earth? ``Vanna: As soon as we receive an SOS. ``Selina: You are staying? ``Vanna: Certus. ``Selina: Come and help choose what we are going to have for dinner. ``Vanna: Guess! ``Selina: Okay, I agree, as long as you are not! ``Vanna: What a thought, because I can now become incinta, although I have not felt anything so far. After Algol, I now fancy something different, and I have the urge to go to Lacerta. ``Selina: That was the best holiday we have ever had. ``Vanna: Well it is down to work, as we have a new link up coming in to Tetra, and thinking about it we will need more room, so can we convert the store room? ``Selina: Zaa, but it is not practicable. ``Vanna: How about building a robust shed next to the Hopper-pad and Tetra can have a relay. ``Selina: I approve, but it must be bunker style. ``Vanna: Agreed.
