Alien Escapade º Episode 0523 - The Secrets: Betty, Dalbir, Feny, Leila, Malar, Mother, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 09 {Corley Farm ~ 3} ``Dalbir: What a unique and interesting place you have here. The weather is very wild. Is it ever at peace? ``Leila: Only for a few weeks a year. ``Dalbir: It feels hostile. ``Leila: It can be at times. ``Dalbir: So where are my sleeping quarters? ``Leila: We have made up a makeshift room for you in the alcove over here. Kirin will sleep under the stairs and the Captain and Jarry will sleep in the nursery. We are upstairs. ``Dalbir: That will do nicely. ``Leila: Do you live at home? ``Dalbir: Qaa or no, I have my own place, but I am not spoken for. ``Leila: Interesting. ``Zola: It is strange how you and I, are lumbered again with each other. ``Vanna: Thanks a lot. ``Zola: Cheeky, it was a compliment. ``Leila: The Space Café is opened. ``Captain: Wonderful and whatever is going. ``Leila: That is it, and I will have to get some more in. ``Dalbir: Your sun is appearing above the horizon. ``Leila: It is often sunny in the mornings, then it turns cold or into rain by the afternoon. --- Anyway has everyone had sufficient? [Zaa's] Good. I am off to see Mother. ``Dalbir: Zimo. {Feny’s House ~ 2} – [On Telephone] [Ring, ring] ``Feny: hello. ``Vanna: Morning Feny. ``Feny: Wonderful to hear your voice. ``Vanna: And yours, as it has been too long. ``Feny: All okay? ``Vanna: I think so, just a little tired, when are you come over? ``Feny: After lunch, about 2 pm. ``Vanna: Fine. There is a lot to catch up on. Seen you then. Bye. {Corley Farm ~ 9} ``Vanna: Kirin and Jarry can you improve the tree walk and try and not fall over as you did skiing? ``Kirin: Very funny, but how did you find out about that? ``Vanna: Dalbir can help the Captain, whilst we are off shopping. `Tetra: We are ready. ``Malar: I am ready. ``Vanna: Yes Tetra, you should have said ‘I’. ``Tetra: Sorry. ``Vanna: The main shops are closed today as it is Sunday, but my multi lingual grocers will be opened, so you can come inside with us. ``Malar: Wow. ``Zola: You must remember to talk English, Tina and Alice. ``Malar: Yes Wendy and Barbara. ``Vanna: Good. lets go. --- `` Tetra: It is a bit cramped. ``Zola: They do not have the space like we do. ``Malar: It is well stocked. ``Vanna: That is why I like coming here, as I can get what I need. I will pay for this lot. --- Okay, let’s get back and we can cook dinner. {Leila’s House ~ 3} ``Leila: Mum. [Hugs] ``Mother: Where the hell have you been? Not a word from you for two months. ``Leila: You have received regular messages from Keith. ``Mother: Yes, but what trouble have you been in? ``Leila: None whatsoever, in fact, the complete opposite. ``Mother: What do you mean? ``Leila: The problem is that secrets get passed around in secret, because they become broken. Therefore I can’t afford to tell anyone, where we have been. ``Mother: You mean you can’t trust your own, mother? ``Leila: Not this time, because look at Andrew reporting us to the police as missing persons. ``Mother: What can I do, Andrew just wants to take over and control things. ``Leila: Exactly, and that in itself is a problem. ``Mother: Oh dear Leila, so can you tell me something? ``Leila: We are all pioneers and are working on science projects which are highly classified, and we are not allowed to talk about to anyone ``Mother: Well that has put my mind at ease. ``Leila: I would love to tell you more, but if you came with us it would cause even more problems with Andrew. ``Mother: Oh Leila, what can we do? ``Leila: I do not know, but my work is fulfilling. ``Mother: You do come back looking younger and healthier, which is amazing. ``Leila: You have to back me up at all costs! ``Mother: I’m certainly willing to do that. Andrew, can take a running jump. ``Leila: Ring Betty, and explain that I am home for a couple of days. ``Mother: [Telephone] ``Betty: Hello, Mother. ``Mother: Betty, just to let you know that Leila is here for a couple of days, and she is fine. ``Betty: Thanks, Mother, I will tell Andrew, and I am sorry about his attitude problem. ``Mother: Just make sure you keep him quiet, and don't start asking questions. ``Betty: I will try, but I too get fed up with him at times. ``Mother: We all do that Betty, but he’s getting more like his father was.
