Episode 0400 - The Ground Work:

``Yafo: The Captain and I, have both agreed in principle that we need a new SP5 or expanding SP3 making it in the middle. Re-pointing SP1 & 2 further west and allowing for SP4 to have more room. Some of the buildings to the east are being demolished and we could end up with a Cable-buggy over to the Dam.

`Mob: The problem we have is that any movement of Pads will mean that the new surface has to be capable of support. ``Captain: The idea is to be able to accept the new Cirrus Class MK I, Saucer which is another 3 metres bigger at 15 metres diameter. Therefore the clearance tolerance is up by 20%. It is even tight for us on SP4, so we do need more room. Therefore we will need to reclaim land.

``Kirin: Why not just have a bigger pad for the, S182 and Cirrus Class? ``Yafo: The problem being is that passengers would have to walk out in between the other Saucers or to take a Hopper-bus, which I do not want to do unless convinced otherwise. ``Captain: That is the dilemma we would have, and qaa clear view when all 4 are in use. ``Kirin: The bigger Saucer would also hide some parts of the other Saucers.

``Jarry: Make the canal and monorail shorter and make the terminal longer. ``Yafo: I agree. Will we have enough room to add SP1 and SP2 to the west end undercover? ``Kirin: It would make sense which means that smaller Hoppers and Choppers and Pop pops, could use new SP1. ``Captain: We would then end up with sufficient gap between SP2 and SP3 for SP5, which would give us sufficient clearance for the downdraft. Also we can move SP4 over eastward.

``Yafo: I have verbal approval to move the East Ring Way over by a half, which will give us another 7 metres and a concrete wall in place from the old central reservation to form a new boundary. This will still leave room for rock slides, by building a new barrier. ``Captain: This will give us a little more room for SP4 and allow SP3 a little more space, putting the new SP5 in the middle. Therefore we need to see projected plans with what we can use. ``Yafo: Agreed. Mob: Agreed. ``Jarry: Agreed. ``Kirin: Agreed. More importantly we need to be able to get the Cirrus Class in here, to get approval of a full updated license for Space Dock. ``Yafo: Therefore are we favour? ]- Zaa’s -] Excellent. Mob, call in the planners, and it needs to be done now! ``Mob: Zaa Yafo. ``Yafo: Anything else? ``Jarry: Get the East Ring Way moved over as a starter. ``Yafo: I will request for it to be done. Zaffre all for coming. Meeting closed.

(Space Dock Tower ~ 2}
``S-Pilot: Pilot to Space Dock, over. ``Jarry: You are clear to land on SP2. Wind south easterly, 5 - 10 knots, be aware of side drift towards buildings, over. ``S-Pilot: Confirmed. --- Dropping down. Down. --- ``Jarry: Quin sign in, but no fee required. ``S-Pilot: I would only put it back on your bill! ``Jarry: Very funny. ``S-Pilot: I presume the Captain is scoffing? ``Jarry: Good possibility. ``S-Pilot: I will go and find him.

{Space Dock Restaurant + Pilot ~ 3}
``S-Pilot: Where is mine? ``Captain: Sit down, what are you having? ``S-Pilot: Something light quin. ``Kara: Cooks discretion? ``S-Pilot: Certus. ``Kara: 5 units. ``S-Pilot: We have taken the precaution of adding extra shielding around the flux inductors, and have grounded it to the bulk head. ``Captain: Excellent. --|-- ``Kara: Food! ``Captain: What took you so long? ``S-Pilot: Some of the Inspectors were on holiday as it was not a planned Air Worthiness Certificate. ``Captain: You win, but I was pleased to have a few extra qefs off. Anyway what else do we need to get done for an upgrade for our Space Dock license? ``S-Pilot: I will let you know shortly, but we all need them over here now for a visit from Cepheus.
