I will have your wages stopped! ``Zola: Meow. ``Leila: I love it! ``Scotty: You are a Rat, not a Cat. ``Peggy: Behave, Jear! ``Leila: Does that me she is a Rat Catcher? ``Zola: I hope so! ``Vanna: On that sharp note, meeting closed. {Kirin’s Place + Kara ~ 2} ``Kirin: I have too much to do before I can settle down to any real commitment. ``Kara: We can cope and I will still work! ``Kirin: Are you just blind to it all? ``Kara: Why is it that I have to do everything your way? ``Kirin: You prove to me it is right, and I will concede. ``Kara: Now you are sounding like the Captain. ``Kirin: Fine with me! I have got more exams coming up. I have another year to go on my apprenticeship as First Officer, yet you expect me to take on additional responsibilities now? ``Kara: You do not seem to be the caring Bear who would protect me from a beast! ``Kirin: Wow! That reminds me of something Leila said to me and perhaps I am a Jear and not a Bear, so the choice is yours!. ``Kara: What did she say? ``Kirin: Not important at the moment. The thing is, how are we going to cope and what gender status is it going to be? ``Kara: I certainly need a Bear, especially if you are going to carry on like this as you become a Jear! ``Kirin: I certainly need a Cat and not a rat. ``Kara: This is not getting us anywhere! ``Kirin: Agreed! Why not go and see Leila, for a chat as Cats? ``Kara: So you have been talking about me, behind my back? ``Kirin: In your understanding, Zaa. And I did suggest it to Leila, and she would be happy to see you. ``Kara: Anyone would think that you are making me into a Rat! ``Kirin: We will become a right couple as a Rat and a Jear. ``Kara: That is typical of you! You just want to make everything into one big joke. ``Kirin: We cannot keep going on like we are! ``Kara: I am going into work to cool off. ``Kirin: Zimo. [Kara leaves] Peace at last, I must get on with my exams! They are more important than anything else. {Sandalwood Fundus ~ 3} ``Vanna: It is all brewing up again. They have found some more errors. ``Selina: Excellent, because I put in a planning request for an extension a long time ago, and never heard anything more. ``Vanna: I will have words with Qualla. ``Selina: Thinking back, there was a ¢850 fee, which I never got back. ``Vanna: I am sure we will have that reimbursed. So what were you going to have done? ``Selina: The stable block needed re-pointing owing to soil erosion. ``Vanna: Presumably, because of the wetlands? ``Selina: Zaa, but I had not thought of that until now. ``Vanna: So we need an extra ditch built, to cut the supply off underground. ``Selina: Excellent solution, I will get the workers who are extending the wetlands to do it. ``Vanna: Call Tetra down please, and you can get her to plan it all out! ``Selina: [shouts upstairs] Tetra! --- Tetra: Zaa Mum. ``Selina: ***! ``Tetra: Agreed and excellent conclusion. I will get on with it, now, zarfs Sister. ``Selina: I owe you one! ``Vanna: Dinner will do. ``Selina: Even the staff, are acting respectfully in a different manner. ``Vanna: So we are shaping up our culture? ``Selina: Apparently so. ``Vanna: That is how I want it to be. ``Selina: So who is getting it from whom? ``Vanna: It is a triangle of events, but a way forward. I think it is the old Ontogenesis tribe of Trig mountain, making it happen, especially as we are very close to them! ``Selina: And Leila’s attracted to it? ``Vanna: Making a square equation of the 4 of us, which is a balance. ``Selina: Where does my husband fit into all of this? ``Vanna: A good question, but he has to! How far can you go back on our hiepi0? ``Selina: About 500 years. ``Vanna: Let’s get an expert in, to go as far back as possible. ``Selina: Agreed. ``Vanna: Lets go up there for dinner. I have been there with Zola a couple of times. ``Selina: Get her over here, as I can have a night off from cooking. ``Vanna: Standby! !!Zola, dinner now at Mums? --- !!Zola. Zaa on my way.
