Alien Escapade º Episode 0275 - A Houdini: Beverly, Dealer, Keith, Leila, Ted, Vanna, Zola = 7 {Goldsmiths} ``Dealer: Good afternoon ladies. I am pleased that you have come, because I will be on holiday next week. ``Leila: Somewhere nice I hope? ``Dealer: A few days in Spain. Do come on through! ``Vanna: Perhaps this will help? ``Dealer: This does look impressive and silver as well. --- I can offer you a grand for the silver and five grand for the gold! ``Vanna: Excellent. ``Dealer: I have kept some by, in case you popped in for a chat. ``Vanna: Thank you. Unfortunately for us, we have to pay death duties, so we are looking to raise a lot more! Would this be in your jurisdiction? ``Dealer: I would be delighted to consider your proposals. ``Vanna: Three weeks? ``Dealer: I will bear it in mind. Good day to you. ``Leila & Vanna: Bye. {Keith & Beverley’s House} ``Keith: Beverley dear, I have had an invite to play the Organ at Vanna’s local church and our alien friend will be there! Would you like to come? ``Beverley, I would love to, and who is this alien friend of yours? I hope you are not two timing me? ``Keith: Not at our age, and I would not swap you for the world! Oh heck! What am I saying? [quietly] The next world! ``Beverley: What was that dear? ``Keith: Her name is Zola, and they want us to take an organ back as well. ``Beverley: At least we have the funds to get ours renovated. ``Keith: I should be able to pick up another one in reasonable nick, although there is a demand for them. {Ted’s Bungalow} ``Vanna: Another thought Ted, it takes time for people to settle down when there is a characteristic change as with the transgender community, because they now see you as a different person, and cannot see what was the attraction which brought them together to be friends. Therefore I am only making plans for The Future: and you will be advised first. ``Ted: What will happen to the runs? ``Vanna: I am hoping that you will continue to help Sandy & Mark taking it over. ``Ted: The Chinese? ``Vanna: That too, as I can drop straight into China to see them with Zola. ``Zola: How nice. ``Ted: I can deal with the Chinese Embassy for you as I have a perfect cover, being a war veteran, although they now know of us anyway. ``Vanna: That is good news. ``Ted: So you really mean that you will be the real Vanna on your next trip? ``Vanna: No, not yet, and it will depend on how much I can control my dilemma, but it will happen initially here on Earth. {Church Organ} ``Keith: Beverley, this is Zola. ``Zola: Zenden. ``Beverly: How nice to meet you. I wondered what kept him away for so long! A nice young lady like you! ``Zola: Honestly Beverly, it was a security issue and nothing else. ``Keith: This is Vanna. ``Vanna: Greetings, Beverly. ``Beverly: Nice to meet you too. ``Keith: Last, but not least, this is Leila. ``Leila: Hallo Beverly. ``Beverly: That is a nice name, you don’t usually hear it these days. This is a nice Church. ``Vanna: A little older than yours, and the walls were made from chalk. ``Beverly: Fascinating. ``Keith: I am going to play a few tunes for Zola as she has never heard or seen an organ before. ``Beverly carry on dear, and I will sit next to Zola. --- ``Zola: Marvellous sound. I would not think the Cassiopeians would want it all the time, but perhaps once a month should go down well. ``Beverly: A pleasant change to our organ, but still very nice dear. ``Keith: I am pleased, as we are going back to Leila’s House to drop off some of these old pipes. ``Beverly: Fine dear, it is too easy staying in. {Safe House} `Zola: I can now understand what 16 ft pipes look like, and I hope they will go around the corners of the Saucer. ``Vanna: We have some lasagne in the oven for super. ``Beverly: That will be fine. ``Zola: I hear you visit France a lot! ``Beverly: We have a summer house out there. It is nice to get away for a few weeks at a time. ``Zola: So you would be happy to come up and visit us? ``Beverly: I would love to come up.
