Alien Escapade ºº Episode 0228 - Hit the Roof: Gera-E1, Jota-E3, Kara, Leila, Manager, Udal-E4, Vanna, Zola, ~ 08 {Chamber of Gera, E1 ~ 4 + Vanna} ``Vanna: [Walks straight in without knocking - Woof] ``Gera: Hey! Vanna what is wrong? ``Vanna: What is this I hear that Tetra’s skool roof leaks? ``Gera: Um, I do not know! ``Vanna: Get Jota in here now, and arrange for an emergency meeting for a new roof! In the meantime I want you to order some temporary repairs, now! ``Gera: Um, [Intercom] - Jota can you pop in with your pad please? ``Jota: Zaa. --- Zibo Vanna. ``Gera: Vanna has brought it to my attention that Tetra’s skool roof leaks, so what can we do immediately? ``Jota: This was one of the things which got squashed, and why you were brought in by the Hierarchy. ``Gera: How do we know what needs to be done? ``Jota: That all needs to be re-established. ``Gera: Okay put it on the list for discussion, but what can we do now? ``Jota: Ask Udal! ``Gera: Um, [Intercom] - Are you free Udal? ``Udal: Zaa! ``Gera: Can you pop in now please? ``Udal: Zaa. ``Udal: This is an unusual meeting! ``Jota: We need finances to repair Tetra’s leaky skool roof! ``Vanna: And funds for a new roof! ``Udal: I can delay funding for other projects and slot you in. ``Gera: It is an emergency? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Udal: When did this come up? ``Vanna: Last night after you had all gone home, it just slipped out of my sister’s mouth. ``Udal: Okay, I will authorize a repair work on her skools’ roof! That will come with a five year guarantee, and I will get an engineer’s report on completion. Jota over to you! ``Jota: Roof repairs are a big job, and other repair projects are on the go! Do you want to use outside contractors? ``Vanna: Qaa. ``Jota: In that case, I will have to pull them off another job, which I do not want to do. ``Vanna: Why not use the Space Dock Maintenance Crew? ``Udal: Excellent idea, and that will be half the price, so we can afford to pay the mob a bonus. ``Gera: I think we all had better go to Space Dock? ``Jota: Agreed. We will all meet up in the restaurant. ``Vanna: And you can buy lunch again! {Space Dock Restaurant ~ 5} ``Kara: I am certainly getting a different style of people in here these days, so what can I get you all? ``Gera: Croak Beans all round and put it on my tab. ``Jota: Our Captain is on leave, but the Maintenance Manager is on his way over. --- Manager: Zibo! ``Gera: How much urgent work do you have on at the moment? ``Manager: Not a lot, because we are still extending the apron of SP4 to the north, which is causing many problems. ``Jota: We have a special job for you, with bonuses! ``Manager: I am listening! ``Jota: Vanna’s sister’s skool roof needs urgent repairs, because it leaks. We need you to patch it up. ``Manager: I take that as a back-handed complement, and how could I refuse! ``Udal: I will give you a works order for repairs; and do sufficient to make it safe. ``Manager: I will get the mob on it straight away. Who is going to tell the committee? ``Jota: I will be delighted to do that. ``Vanna: And I will go and tell my sister. ``Gera: Jota, I will be in this afternoon. ``Jota: Zimo. ``Vanna: Another croak beans please and a rock cake. ``Gera: Kara: ***! ``Kara: Zaa. --- Drinks --- ``Vanna: After all the kind invitations and hospitality that you have had from my Mum, and you allow this to happen! ``Gera: You win! But there is a lot more that you do not know! Like [Whisper] other money still missing into millions. ``Vanna: That is not the point, because you have not addressed the problem. Is this why the Canal dried up? ``Gera: How did you know about that? ``Vanna: You will have to do better than this, and I cannot be sweet-talked like you do to others! ``Gera: Oh! What can I say. ``Vanna: There is a lot of things, still need sorting out. You have a job to do, so get on and do it. ``Gera: Okay, but can we have truce please? ``Vanna: Zaa. So where are we going today for lunch? And this is going to cost you! ``Gera: There is a new restaurant at Venerdi Hills. ``Vanna: Okay that is close to Zola and Qualla. ``Gera: Is that okay? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Gera: It will be quieter to talk there. ``Vanna: You are going to have to change your ways a lot more, and start doing things properly, otherwise you are not going to survive!
