{Safe House}
``Vanna: I will be gone for a couple of hours, but then I will spend the rest of today with you. ``Zola: You had better! And that is an order. ``Vanna: Agreed Hun. Ted has gone to see his family and Mark and Sandy are in Gloucestershire, at her mother’s. I have asked Pat over, but she will be stuck on her phone in her three-hour break to her family. So I will be back [Kisses] Yoni.

{Leila’s House ~ 5}
``Leila: Does an opened door mean an open house? ``Mother: You’ve made it! [Hugs] How lovely. You’ve made my day. And Hugs for Vanna as well! Come on in and meet the family. This is my son Andrew and his wife Betty, and their four year old boy, Paul. ``Vanna: Glad to meet you all, and merry Christmas. ``Mother: How long are you staying for? ``Leila: I am here until evening time, but Vanna has to get back for her girlfriend. ``Mother: You could have brought her over here as well! ``Leila: Thanks Mum, but she too has family. ``Mother: Anyway what do you want to drink? ``Vanna & Leila: Coffees please Mum. ``Vanna: Paul is full of beans. ``Betty: Don’t I know it! It’s very hard to get him to sleep. ``Andrew: Have you any family? ``Vanna: I have a lost daughter Zoë, who I believe is in Australia. --- ``Mother: Here you are girls. ``Leila: Thanks, the coffee always tastes different here! --- Here is your card and a present, as we only got back home yesterday. ``Andrew: So where have you been? ``Vanna: I think the question should be, where have we not been, but West Africa, helping out in the remote villages. ``Andrew: Betty and I are amazed. ``Leila: Vanna and I feel useful out there. ``Mother: This is a ‘snice’ present, so thank you. Go and look under the tree! ``Leila: Found it. [Opens the parcel] A bracelet, oh thanks Mum. ``Mother: Have you got your necklaces on? ``Leila: Yes. ``Mother: Show them to Betty. ``Betty: They are lovely. ``Vanna: We watch the tribe, making them, but I am sorry, I have to go! So Merry Christmas. ``Family: [Merry Xmas] ``Mother: I won’t ask about New Year? ``Vanna: We do not know as yet, but they don’t even know what Christmas is like out there.

{Safe House ~ 3}
``Vanna: Am I back in time? ``Zola: Confirmed. I will have discipline in my outfit! ``Vanna: Yes Ma’am. ``Zola: Come here and give me a big hug. [Kisses] ``Vanna: Only one? [Hugs and kisses]. ``Zola: Whist you were away, we have received a SOS transmission in from Scotty. ‘On way no sun 20 time to go’. ``Vanna: That means they will be here just after midnight. I will send a text message to Ted and Leila. --- All done! You have done well on the tree; and if I plug this in here to the wall socket --- Bingo --- We have lights. ``Zola: How pretty. ``Vanna: Let me show you how these paper chains work, and there are 90 in a pack of 5 colours. ``Zola: That is easy enough. A culture of ours is to change the colour scheme in our places, every five years. ``Vanna: That is good, because I have different colour schemes in each of my rooms, as it helps me to relax, but you have not noticed it? ``Zola: It is normal to me. We live for hundreds of years so we all need a change. ``Vanna: Does that mean you also move around more? ``Zola: Zaa, we do many exchanges, and everything goes into store for a week, whilst they redecorate. It is 20H00, let’s go and fetch Leila.

``Vanna: All okay? ``Leila: Yea! It has made her day that the whole family were together for the first time in two years, but she will be devastated and lonely tomorrow, when we have all gone our separate ways.

``Vanna: She has to make new friends. ``Leila: Yea, anyway, lets get back to the Safe House. --- ``Zola: Vanna did say that you have the bug, but what would happen if I had the bug for Earth? ``Leila: Hah ha that’s a clever one, very funny. ``Vanna: Wow! What a question to ask! ``Zola: What have I said? ``Leila: Nothing is wrong, but if you want to stay here you can, and you can have the lot. ``Zola: Explain it to me later please! ``Vanna: Sure. ``Zola: So we can open our presents? ``Vanna: Intriguingly. ``Leila: Absolutely.
