Leila, Scotty, Wendy, Workers, ~ 04

{The Cave ~ 3}
``Scotty: Your security pass or ID will log you in or out, so they know where you are at all times. You can take any Hopper-buggy, which has a blue light on, as they all stay within the cave. If it goes amber, then stop at the next charging point, and take another one, which has a blue light. If there are none available, then press this button here and someone will bring another buggy down to you. ``Leila: Simple as ABC.

``Scotty: I have booked you into the visitors’ quarters, as you will be independent and have a little more space, but it is not big. It is like a small flat. ``Wendy: That will do nicely. ``Leila: It is a lot cooler down here. ``Scotty: The problem is, it can get very stuffy at times, so plenty of trips to the surface. ``Leila: I am not surprised, if you have a thousand Beings down here!

``Scotty: Most of the cave has been bored out, so our tunnels are square. ``Wendy: I saw a picture similar to this; I think it was in the African jungle somewhere. ``Scotty: Therefore they all look similar, and are marked in Cassiopeian. So I thought it would be best to put up some colour arrows for you in dark purple, just in case you were colour blind! ``Leila: Is this what you had to put up with on the Earth? ``Wendy: Absolutely. ``Scotty: We drive on the right up here, as right is right! --- ``Leila: But you normally drove on the left, and as a firemen, always drive down the middle! --- ``Scotty: The ‘up arrows’ always take you towards the surface, and ‘down arrows’ is deeper; left arrow to continue along and right arrow is the way out. Therefore, I have numbered every section, but I have left gaps in the sequence in case I have over-looked something or you come can up with a ‘bright spark’ idea! ``Leila: Very wise! ``Wendy: I do agree it is stuffy down here; they need to improve the ventilation! ``Scotty: You can suggest that to the Elders! Okay Leila, it is all your turn, take us back to the surface. ``Leila: Certainly, anything to get out of this rat hole.

{Wendy’s Trullo ~ 3} - [Next Day]
``Leila: I think I will have to go down the cave to cool off, as I am sweating buckets here and this is worse than a hot flush! ``Wendy: You have to learn to control your body better, as it is warning you that some-thing is wrong, and does not know what or how to cope with the situation! Mainly because you are panicking, and you will get Orthostatic hypertension! You have to teach your brain to keep control of your breathing! ``Leila: That is easier said, than done! ``Wendy: It is 50ºC here in the shade, but you are not using your meditation technique properly, to keep in control. ``Leila: Okay, I give it another try. ``Wendy: I am off to do the land checks, so I suggest that you do the wooded areas, and report back here in 1st time.

``Leila: Oh good, you are back! I am not happy, because there are so many small leaves off the bushes, which have stacked up around bottom of a few trees. I think it is potentially dangerous! ``Wendy: Fine, so give them a call! ``Leila: Okay, but you will have to translate! --- ``Wendy: Sure. --- ``Leila: Querist! Now what? ``Wendy: Just wait, as I have never had to use them! ``Leila: I will draw some pictures. [30 Units Later] Did I hear a Hopper-truck coming? ``Wendy: Let’s go out and greet them! Zenden. ``Workers: Zenden. ``Wendy: Show them your drawings and they will follow us to the site. ``Leila: They are good workers and they have scuffled everything up, and took the lot away. So it was zarfs and zaffre all round.

``Wendy: Everyone gets on and does their job properly up here. ``Leila: I am amazed. Neither did they bat an eyelid; they just got on and did the lot. ``Wendy: Well, it certainly does give you an incentive to carry on in life. ``Leila: They never even queried it, even though there is a language barrier. ``Wendy: It would not worry them; their only priority was to remove the doubt at all cost. ``Leila: It is time for a cuppa, I think we deserve it? ``Wendy: Okay. ``Leila: Why does Scotty not make some of his homemade wine, as some of these fruits taste like grapes? ``Wendy: Ask him.
