Alien Escapade ººº Episode 0026 - The returns of Return: Jarry, Leila, Scotty, Wendy, ~ 04 {Portal – West Site ~ 3} ``Leila: It is quite chilly out! ``Wendy: Hopefully it will keep the nosey parkers away, as I’m struggling up this pathway. ``Leila: So am I --- ``Wendy: Made it at last. Now we wait. --- ``Leila: I will scout around --- ``Wendy: Oh good, my necklace is glowing --- ``Leila: Mine is as well and the wind is changing, and I can hear a humming noise. Put on your sun glasses! ``Wendy: Here she comes, straight down and our Saucer has landed. ``Leila: Let’s go. --- ``Jarry: Zenden. I will take them! --- ``Wendy: Zarfs --- ``Jarry: Up drawbridge, so please get through security screening quickly and sit down in the lounge, as we are lifting off at high speed, so please put up with the pressure change. --- ``Leila: Blimey the pressure is great, it is a good job we are used to it now! ``Wendy: We are already 25 Km up. At last I can breathe again. ``Leila: Heck, we have already gone into Hyperdrive, with another surge of forward acceleration. ``Wendy: They must be in a hurry! --- ``Jarry: Drinks. --- Zarfs --- We are sorry about that, but there is much military activity around tonight and we nearly had to abort the mission. ``Wendy: Zarfs for explaining things. ``Jarry: We should be able to save an hour as the new navigational computers are working well. ``Wendy: Look at the screen, we can now see the roman numerals and temperature in centigrade, next to theirs. ``Leila: That is much better. So what are we going to do when we get home? ``Wendy: Wait and see. --- It is time for our compulsory sleep period. --- [7 Hours later] --- ``Jarry: Zila, zila --- Food Time. --- Zarfs ``Wendy: Do you think that Dad will be pleased to see me? ``Leila: I would hope so! He does know that we are coming up. ``Wendy: If only we could get on better together, as I would do the ultimate thing. ``Leila: That is a very courageous thought of yours, but don’t you think it is your education, which is much more important? ``Wendy: How else could I show my allegiance, if he is still going to rebuff me? ``Leila: What a question, but I think you ought to wait and see. ``Wendy: Have you noticed that things seem to come back at you, far quicker? ``Leila: In a sense, there are none of the time delays, like when playing the organ some times. ``Wendy: Yea, there is no echo! I will have to be more careful. ``Leila: I thought it was me, but you are right; it sort of bounces back. ``Wendy: It could be hyperspace creating this phenomenon? ``Leila: Or is it? ``Wendy: We must be getting close to Cassiopeia, look at the display, it is saying it is 41ºC. ``Leila: Wow, Scotty said it was going to get hot. ``Wendy: By the time we land, late afternoon, it should be a little cooler. ``Leila: It looks like we are going to save 2 hours on our journey time and will be landing early. I have packed the cards, so what will it be? ``Wendy: Crib? ``Leila: Fine. ``Wendy: I will be glad, to get back. ``Leila: It will be 19th time, when we will land and it says the temperature is still 25ºC, which is normal temperature for a heat wave in Italy. ``Wendy: That reminds me walking along the sea front in Fano at one o’clock in the morning, and it was still warm out, with the sea air. ``Leila: Well we will be walking down the drawbridge very shortly. {Space Dock ~ 3} - [Back in Cassiopeia] ``Scotty: What time do you call this? ``Wendy: At least you are making an effort with your sense of humour! ``Leila: But, there is an underlying metaphor coming up very shortly. ``Scotty: We will stop off in the arrivals lounge, out of the heat for a chat, owing to the fire precautions in place, as you Girls do come under the rules of Cassiopeia. Moreover, I was not sure whether you would come back! ``Wendy: I never doubted it, but I had to consider Leila, as I am responsible for bringing her here in the first place. ``Leila: I wanted to come anyway, so you two are both off the hook. ``Scotty: Zarfs. The temperature is on the rise, so we must have a pep talk about our strict regulations which are in place, under the rules of the Cosmos. ``Leila: Fine Scotty, you were the fireman, but you never tell us what these rules are! ``Scotty: The Cosmos has to be protected so it can survive the ignorance of galactic population.
