Alien Escapade ººº Episode 0018 - The Celebrations: Elder3 Jota, Leila, Peggy, Qualla, Scotty, Wendy, ~ 06 {Oligarchy - Reception ~ 5} ``Qualla: The official meeting is now closed, but we will retire to a private reception area, where a buffet lunch is waiting for you all, and congratulations from everyone here as it was a fine speech. ``Leila: Thanks. --- Hi Elder 3! What is your name again please? ``Jota: Jota! ``Leila: Zarfs. It was a lovely thought, and I do like the flowers, and it is very much appreciated. ``Jota: Zaffre. ``Leila: Come on you three, keep up in the queue and dig in, the food looks marvellous! What do you think Peggy? ``Peggy: I am impressed. ``Wendy: I am only having small portions, as I am not very hungry. ``Leila: What do you think of the punch, Scotty? ``Scotty: It is fruity and light so we should not get drunk. ``Leila: So what do you think of the Elders? ``Scotty: Some are okay, but something is not right. However, it is the first time I have had the privilege of meeting all the 9 Elders together. ``Leila: What about you Peggy? ``Peggy: I am dumb founded, so you win on this one. ``Wendy: It is heavy going tying to get any conversation with the Elders, so I thank Dad and Qualla. I think we have sussed out their specialist interests. ``Scotty: I have made many notes and they represent the nine constellations. ``Qualla: You have all been invited to a variety show of drama and culture, this evening, especially as you are the guest of honour! ``Leila: Zarfs Qualla, and I accept. ``Qualla: Courtesy transport has been arranged, and will be at your quarters at 18th time. ``Leila: So Scotty and Peggy you will meet us there? ``Scotty: Confirmed. ``Wendy: At least we will have time to freshen up, and have a short rest. {Hall of Variety ~ 4} ``Leila: Hey Wendy, it looks similar to the layout of our Albert Hall, although I think it is a little smaller. `Wendy: It is already packed out, although we have a box to ourselves, so when is Dad going to arrive? ``Leila: Knowing your Dad, at the last minute. --- At last, late as --|-- ``Scotty: [Gruff] ``Leila: usual, Scotty! ``Wendy: Hi Peggy. ``Peggy: Zenden. ``Leila: Scotty, the Elders are in the next box. (Wendy’s Trullo ~ 2} ``Leila: The skill in their dancing with some fast and others slow, is similar to our ballet, but they were all contortionists and the dance movements were very intricate. ``Wendy: That in itself is a masterpiece. ``Leila: The event was a marathon, and we did not get away until 27th time. ``Wendy: It is now 28th time and I am off to bed, so can everything else wait until tomorrow? ``Leila: Good night. {Leila’s Trullo ~ 1} ``Leila: I am so tired, but my brain is still buzzing with energy. I never manage to achieve much or gain any prizes on Earth, but now I was again on Network TV. That is twice in one day! I must still be in a dream world? I think I am now an Ambassadress, but what will that mean? Will they want to focus more attention on me, which is weird? --- [Morning] At last, I have had a lie in and it has gone 10th time. Now what else can I find in these cupboards! What’s this brown powder substance! It smells similar like coffee. --- Nice, but a little bit sweet. --- I think I will go and wake Wendy up, with a nice cup of this hot smelling coffee! {Wendy’s Trullo ~ 2} ``Leila: [Knock-knock] Wendy, are you up? Can I come in? ``Wendy: Of course you can, anytime. ``Leila: I have found something similar to coffee! ``Wendy: Coffee? Oh, yes, I would love a cup. Oh thank you dear --- a little sweet, but nice.
